The mission trip to the Midabini School in Tanzania in Feb/March 2011 was an
overwhelming success!
The new classroom was built in 20 days by David, Kevin, Hamisi, and the Midabini Community
Joyce joined Samson, Autunus, Joseph and Albert as part of the teaching staff
for four weeks teaching English, Music, games, songs and a bit of math.
We left money for continued improvements to the Midabini School
We left money for the support of the St. Paul Academy in Karatu
We made many new friends and shared the gospel messageat Midabini
We enjoyed fellowship with the congregation of the Tanzania Assembly of God in Karatu
We recently warmly welcomed new members to our congregation. We look forward to continued fellowship as they join our church family.
"Welcome Karen, Linda and Alan"
The North Buxton Community Church was blessed to received a Community Partnership grant from the Municipality of Chatham Kent to assist with the final phase of our Heritage Memorial Garden. During this phase we installed plaquing to commemorate the founders of the various religious denominations in the Historic Buxton Settlement.
The garden was dedicated
at the 85th Annual Homecoming service
held on September 6, 2009
